It's WONDER Wednesday!

This week's WONDER is the kickoff to the Northern Michigan summer. Folks have different ideas about what constitutes the official start to the season. Here are a few ways to tell. What do YOU say?

YOU KNOW IT’S SUMMER UP NORTH WHEN:

  • You have your first ice cream cone

  • The garden is planted

  • First local strawberries are harvested

  • The Harbor Springs Farmers Market opens

  • Sailboats hit the water

  • You can wade up to your knees in the lake without squealing

  • The Memorial Day parade snakes down Main Street

  • School's out

  • You have your first BBQ

  • The summer solstice occurs (June 21)

  • All the City of Harbor Springs drinking fountains are flowing
